Pystymetsä (freely translated as Upright Forest Ltd) produces quality films for domestic and international markets. Company provides also tailor-made film services for clients in Finland and abroad, including services of screenplay writing, script editing, preproduction, location scouting, casting, professional staff, shooting and postproduction. Northern Scandinavia is our main area of film operations.

In addition Pystymetsä provides educational, research, consulting and information services regarding Finnish social and health sectors, especially concerning children’s and young people’s welfare.

Through the three decades we have had a pleasure of serving various customers, such as the state of Finland, ministries, such as ministry of social & welfare, ministry of internal affairs and ministry of education, several schools and universities, corporations, film and television companies and advertising companies in Finland and abroad.
